Pacific Prawns with Black Soy Beans

Preparation time : 5 minutes
Cooking time : 4 minutes

Serves 3-4

Ingredients :

5-6 frozen Pacific prawns
Tiny pinch lack pepper
Pinch each sugar and salt
Pinch Ve-Tsin
2 tablespoons peanut oil
3 crushed thin slices fresh ginger
1 crushed clove garlic
2 tablespoons canned black Soy beans
1/4 pint ( U.S. 2/3 cup) chicken stock
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornflour
1 dessertspoon water
1 spring onion (flower)
Parsley

Method :

1. Remove the prawns shell and the black intestinal lines.

2. Sprinkle the pacific prawns with the pepper, sugar, salt and Ve-Tsin.

3. Heat the peanut oil in frying pan and cook the ginger, garlic until golden brown. Then discard.

4. Add the black Soy beans and cook about 1/2 minute. Then, place the pacific prawns in it and cook for 2 minutes. After that, add the chicken stock, soy sauce and blend the cornflour with the water (stir it). Boil the pacific prawns for 1 1/2 minutes.

5. Turn into heated dish and garnish with spring onion (flower) or parsley.
