Awabi and Chinese Mushrooms

Preparation time : 3 minutes
Cooking time : 5 minutes

Serves 3

Ingredients :

3 oz. canned awabi
3 oz. Chinese mushrooms
1 tablespoon peanut oil
1 roughly cut up medium-sized onion
1 teaspoon ginger sherry
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 pint ( U.S. 5/8 cup) chicken stock
Pinch salt
Pinch Ve-Tsin
Small pinch salt
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon cornflour
1 dessertspoon water

Method :

1. Cut the awabi into thin slices. Drain and dry the mushroom (steams removed), leaving them whole.

2. Heat the oil and fry the onion in it for one and the half minutes.

3. Cook all these ingredients included awabi, mushrooms, chicken stock, Pinch salt, Pinch Ve-Tsin, soy sauce, cornflour water,and ginger sherry for 2 minutes.

4. Stir the cornflour, blended with the water, into the mixture and boil for one and the half -two minutes.

5. Turn into a heated dish.

6. Ready for serve.
