Basic Boiled Rice

Serves 4-6

I
ngredients :

225g long-grain rice, soaked in cold water for 30 minutes and drained
450ml water
1 teaspoon salt

Method :

1. Put the rice into a saucepan and pour over the water and salt.

2. Boil the rice and reduce the heat to low volume.

3. Cover the pan.

4. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes (until the rice is cooked and tender).

5. Ready to serve the frangant rice.
