Fried Herrings

Preparation time : 3-4 minutes

Serves 3

Ingredients :

3 small herrings
Good pinch salt
Good pinch Ve-Tsin( Monosodium glutamate )
Few shakes pepper
1 dessertspoon self-raising flour
2 tablespoon peanut oil
1 spring onion
Few dashes soy sauce

Method :

1. Scrape, de-gut and wash the herrings, leaving the heads and tails on.

i) Add the salt, Ve-Tsin and pepper into the flour.Then take the herrings pass through the mixture.

2. Heat the oil in a frying-pan. Fry the herrings in it on both sides until golden brown. Drain the herrings on absorbent paper

3. Chop the onion. Sprinkle with the onion and soy sauce over the fried herrings.

4. Ready for serve.
