Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce

Serves 2

Ingredients :

4 oz (125 g) Lean pork (cut into thin strips)
1 oz (25 g) pickled ginger (or substitute fresh ginger)
0.5 oz (15 g) green pepper (cut into thin strips)
5 oz (150 g) mung bean sprouts (Wash and drain)
7 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 tablespoons rice wine
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tablespoons salt (to taste)
2 tablespoons cornstarch (cornflour)-dissolved in 1 tablespoons water

Method :

1. Heat 4 tablespoons of the oil in a wok. When the oil hot,ddd the Lean pork and stir-fry until cooked. Add the rice wine, soy sauce, and sugar, and stir several times to blend. Pour into a bowl and set aside.

2. Add the remaining 0.25 tablespoons oil to the wok, and reheat it. Add the ginger, green pepper, and mung bean sprouts and stir-fry several times. Return the pork mixture to the wok and stir with pinch of salt. Stir the cornstarch (conflour) mixture then pour into the wok; stir-fry together with Shredded Pork until sauce look thickened.

3. Ready for serve.
