Wontons with Pork and Shrimps

Serves 6

Ingredients :

1/2 lb minced pork
10 shrimps (chopped into small pieces)
1 pack of wonton skins
3 water chestnuts (peeled and chopped into small pieces)
1 egg (lightly beaten)
2 sprigs of coriander (chopped)
1/2 teaspoon of fish sauce
1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon of corn flour
A few dashes of white pepper powder
Salt (to taste)
Vegetable oil (for deep-fry wontons)

Method :

1. Mix the minced pork, shrimps, water chestnuts, chopped coriander and corn flour in a bowl.

2. Add in half the beaten egg, mix the ingredients well and season with fish sauce, salt, and some white pepper powder. Set aside.(*save the other half for wrapping the wontons).

3. Wrap the wontons using the wonton skins.

4. Heat up a wok with cooking oil for Deep fry the wontons until golden brown.

5. Ready for serve.
