Chicken with Green Peas

Preparation time : 10 minutes

Cooking time : 6 minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients :

chicken drumstick
3 tablespoons barely cooked peas
1 tablespoon peanut oil1 sliced small onion
1/4 teaspoon ginger sherry
1/4 pint ( U.S. 5/8 cup) chicken stock
Small pinch each salt sugar and Ve-Tsin
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 level teaspoon cornflour1 dessertspoon water

Method :

1.. Defrosted the frozen green peas if any.

3. Quickly cook the onion for 1 minute.

4. Add chicken drumstick into frying pan and cook for 2 minutes.

5. Add the sherry, stock, seasonings, soy sauce and peas and cook all together for 3-4 minutes.

6. Stir in the cornflour, blended with water, and keep the mixture moving while it cook for a further 1/2 minutes.

7. Ready to serve.
