Pork Meat Ball

Preparation time : 20 minutes
Cooking time : 10 minutes

Serves 2-3

Ingredients :

6oz. pork
1 dessertspoon canned water chesnuts
1 dessertspoon canned bamboo shoots
Pinch each salt, sugar and Ve-Tsin(Monosodium glutamate )
1 teaspoon beaten egg
1 tablespoon self-raising flour
Peanut oil
Parsley
Batter
2 tablespoons self-raising flour
Scant 1/4 pint ( U.S. 1/2 cup ) water

Method :

1. Finely chop the pork, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. Then, add the seasonings and the beaten egg into it.

2. Divide into 5-6 pieces and roll each into a neat ball size.

3. Place the meat balls in the flour and batter (small amount) together with water.

4. Fry the meat balls in medium heated hot frying pan until golden brown.

5. Place the meat balls in a heated serving dish and garnish with parsley.

6. Ready for serve.
