Quick Fried Rice

Preparation time : 5 minutes
Cooking time : 10 minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients :

2 cups of leftover rice
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 medium red onion (peeled and sliced)
3 pieces of chicken frankfurters or can substitute with other type of meat of your choice such as chicken, char siew, waxed Chinese sausage, pork (thawed and sliced)
2 eggs
3 tablespoon cooking oil
a dash of sesame oil
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
salt and pepper (to taste)

Method :

1. Heat up cooking oil, sauté the garlic till fragrant, add in the onions. Lower the heat and stir till onions softens.

2. Place in the sliced frankfurters, oyster sauce and stir fry till the meat are cooked through. Break in the eggs, add salt, pepper and sesame oil.

3. Add rice, increase the heat and stir till everything are evenly mixed. Dish out and ready for serve.
