White Gourd Soup with Fish (Beijing-Hebei Style)

Serves 2-3

Ingredients :

250g white gourd (thinly sliced)
150g fresh fish (finely sliced)
1/4 teaspoon scallions (thinly sliced)
1 cup (250 ml) stock
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 cups shao shing wine
pinch salt

Method :

1. In large saucepan, combine white gourd, fresh fish, stock and salt. Then, bring to boil.

2. Simmer for 20 minutes, or until the white gourd is cooked. Sprinkle with the scallions, shao shing wine, and sesame oil.

3. Ready for serve.
